Langley Township, Canada Otter Co-op Full time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Hardware Associate at Otter Co-op. As a key member of our Retail Centre team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and contributing to the success of our retail operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide prompt and courteous service to all customers
  • Stock shelves with merchandise and maintain a clean and organized store environment
  • Utilize product knowledge to promote sales and provide recommendations to customers
  • Operate a forklift if required and contribute to the team in living the Corporate Values of Integrity, Community, and Excellence
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Previous warehouse experience is an asset
  • Previous DIY Home Reno/Repair experience in building supplies and/or gardening/landscape is an asset
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Displays enthusiasm about delivering excellent Guest Service
  • Ability to take and maintain the Forklift Certification
  • Must be committed to a SAFE working environment
  • Ability to construct and build seasonal displays
  • Ability to perform physical job duties including lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs.
  • Must have open availability and be able to work days, evenings, and weekends
