Human Resources Strategic Partner

A 12-month contract position supporting the Talent Management Strategy through owning the talent acquisition cycle to attract and retain top talent.

Position Accountabilities:
  • Talent Acquisition and Direct Sourcing
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, from position description to candidate offer and onboarding transition.
  • Manage recruitment processing within HRIS.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs.
  • Utilize different sourcing techniques to reach out and engage with potential candidates and build talent pipelines.
  • Champion the candidate's experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Partner with recruitment agencies in hard-to-fill and critical roles.
  • Maintain strong relationships with external partners.
  • Talent Acquisition Strategic Projects
  • Maintain strong relationships with external partners and collaborate with talent networks.
  • Analyze and report on recruitment metrics to assess the quality of the recruitment process and new hires.
  • Participate and host career fairs and talent networking events.
  • Partner with the Manager, Talent Management, on workforce planning and organization design optimization.
  • Own and develop early talent programs and alumni networks.
Human Resources Strategic Projects
  • Collaborate with HR business partners on the operationalization of the Talent Management strategy.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to understand Talent Management needs and translate those into actionable solutions.
  • Support the maintenance of the Talent Framework and cycles.
  • Provide support designing talent programs, processes, and systems to achieve business goals.
Learning and Development Strategic Projects
  • Collaborate with the Talent Manager and SMEs to create and deliver impactful learning content aligned with business needs.
  • Facilitate and host engaging learning events and workshops to drive employee development and performance.
  • Support the management of the Learning Management System (LMS), including course creation, tracking completions, and generating reports.
  • Support the design and implementation of talent programs, processes, and systems to achieve strategic business objectives.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Works predominantly in an office environment, attending all PRPA locations, including PRPA Harbor Patrol Vessels.
