Position: C&SU Electrical Lead | Poly TR4
Primary Location: Fort Saskatchewan (AB, CAN), Alberta, Canada

About You and this Role
Dow's Path2Zero Program is seeking a Poly Train 4 Commissioning & Start-up Electrical Lead to support large scale capital projects at the Fort Saskatchewan site in Alberta, Canada.
This role will work closely with the Maintenance and Reliability Representative and be a key member of the Poly Tr4 Commissioning and Start-up team.
After the Project reaches Return to Operations (RTO), this role will transition to the Poly Tr4 Electrical DAS and will be resized to reflect organizational needs. Timing and details will be documented with a letter of understanding at the time of offer acceptance. The incumbent will be supported to apply for other opportunities during the transition period, if desired.
The responsibilities of this role during Project Construction, Commissioning and Start-up include:
- Lead the development of Electrical Commissioning and Start-up Procedures and Binder.
- Support Maintenance Reps for Spare Part Interchangeability Record review for electrical MST.
- Review Electrical Equipment Protection Plan and participate in field audit throughout construction phase.
- Electrical Safe Work Standard (ESWS) Implementation.
- Develop PPM Program by utilizing Condition Based Electrical (CBE) tool.
- Collaborate with Reliability Engineers on Equipment Reliability Strategy (ERS) implementation.
- Review of Electrical spare part and setup stocking quantity aligning with ERS and site requirement.
- Support in setting up C&SU database in Provenience for Electrical.
- Work with Maintenance Rep. to setup plan for Electrical C&SU resources, tool and special tool.
- Maintenance Clearing and Repair Procedure Development.
- Lead Electrical equipment commissioning activities.
- Facilitate Electrical Safety and Reliability Pre-Energizing Assessment.
- Facilitate Electrical Transfer Reliability.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent.
- Electrical Journeyperson Certificate or Electrical Red Seal designation.
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience (i.e. apprenticeships, journeyman, maintenance, manufacturing or related)
- Willing and able to travel up to 25% (domestically & internationally).
- Ability to safely work in a plant environment, meet physical demands, work at elevated heights, and comfortably use PPE and safety equipment (including harnesses with a total maximum weight capacity of 300lbs). Must be familiar with or open to training on proper equipment usage.
- Prior C&SU experience is preferred.
- A background in Solution PE Technology is preferred.
- A minimum requirement for this position is the ability to work legally in Canada. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including any type of permanent residency support.
