**About the Role You’ll Play**:
Reporting to the Program Lead, you will assist with the administrative duties of a workforce development program aimed at recruiting and upskilling current horticulture and landscape employees.
Working within a small team, you will connect with participants, employers and training partners from across the province to ensure program guidelines and compliance material has been completed.

**Your Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct research and compile information to inform learning pathways for individual training plans;
- Complete Client and Case Management Files;
- Schedule participants for coaching sessions, goal setting meetings and courses;
- Conduct employer and participant calls as directed
- Ensure accurate record keeping and that all supporting documentations for the program agreements are maintained and available for auditing purposes;
- Keep up-to-date with participant databases, reporting and budgets;
- Work collectively with the Program Lead to achieve objectives;
- Conduct outreach and promotion for the GROW Program and Apprenticeship teams as needed;
- Other responsibilities as required.

- Judgment - Ability to use sound reasoning when faced with various issues.
- Detailed Oriented - Attends to details and pursues quality in accomplishing tasks.

**Admin Assistant Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an administration position
- High level of technical proficiency including Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and project management tools and databases.
- Must have advanced administrative and data entry skills
- Self-motivated with experience working with multiple priorities;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills (oral & written);
- Experienced in file management both electronic and paper-based;
- Ability to work independently with mínimal direction;
- Attention to detail and deadlines;
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong collaboration and organizational skills;
- A sense of humour

The following experience will be considered an asset, but not required:

- Knowledge and experience in the horticulture and landscape industry.
- Experience with delivering adult education.

**About This Position**:

- Full Time Contract until March 31, 2024, with possibility of renewal.
- Hybrid work environment consisting of two days per week in the office.
- Some evenings or weekends may be required.
- Occasional travel is required to attend events and meetings.
- Reports to the Program Lead
