**About The Opportunity**:
Working as an integral part of the Ta7lnew̓ás Education, Employment and Training Department, this position reports directly to the Manager, Income Assistance. This position will act as the administrative “right hand” for the team by coordinating all in-flowing and outgoing information; this role is responsible for a wide range of research, financial, and administrative tasks for the Income Assistance team. As the Income Assistance Administrative Officer for Squamish Nation, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of the income assistance program. This position involves overseeing key administrative functions, including maintaining financial and program files, adhering to security guidelines, and coordinating various administrative tasks. You will be responsible for managing the flow of information within the department, as well as with external partners and other departments, to ensure smooth operations. Additionally, you will be instrumental in keeping client files organized and up-to-date, both in physical and digital formats, and maintaining administrative financial and supplies.

- Ability to prepare, control, and maintain a variety of records, files, reports, statistics, manuals, and reference materials related to the work. Also to assist in developing, implementing, and coordinating emergency planning, response, and recovery programs.
- Able to disseminate complex information to stakeholders in a meaningful way.
- Resourceful and organized with excellent time management abilities.
- Able to deliver negative information tactfully and diplomatically when needed. Acts ethically and handles sensitive information with confidentiality.

***Salary**: $ 57,144 - $ 63,738 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits program
