**Reports to**:Team Lead, ROI Communications and Reporting

**Summary**

BCIB is the provincial Crown Corporation responsible for implementing the Community Benefits Agreement (CBA) on select public infrastructure projects. The CBA prioritizes hiring of local, Indigenous, women, people with disabilities and other underrepresented groups and enables a culturally competent and respectful worksite. BCIB is committed to growing and mobilizing a safe, diverse, and skilled workforce and increase opportunities for apprenticeships.

Reporting to the Team Lead, ROI Communications and Reporting, the Indigenous Relations & ROI Administrator will support the Indigenous Relations & Respectful Onsite Initiative teams in Indigenous outreach, engagement and will support the delivery of ROI training and related activities.

The Administrator will be a dynamic, resourceful, and highly competent team player responsible for supporting the delivery of ROI training, and assisting the Team Lead in implementing communication initiatives and reporting requirements. This role will also support Indigenous outreach and engagement and will work closely with other department such as Workforce Planning and Placement to support outreach and engagement activities with First Nations communities, Indigenous employment and training organizations.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**

**Communications & Reporting**

Work with the Team Lead, ROI Communications and Reporting on communications/reporting strategy including but not limited to:

- providing material/postings to update the BCIB social media accounts
- securing Indigenous success stories
- coordinating IR/ROI website content updates
- coordinating and executing IR/ROI monthly corporate newsletter
- reporting on ROI training
- establishing ROI base line in creating a corporate culture that is diverse and inclusive
- providing support to members of the team working on the corporate ROI benchmark project

**Indigenous Relations**

Work with the Workforce Planning & Placement team on outreach/engagement strategies to maximize Indigenous participation in CBA projects and trades careers including but not limited to:

- distribution of project labour demand information and employment opportunities to First Nations and Indigenous organizations
- organizing and/or attending community-based information sessions, career fairs, meetings
- coordinating project regional Indigenous Advisory Committees

**Respectful Onsite Initiative**

Support the Manager, ROI Implementation by providing but not limited to:

- coordinating venues and catering needs, arranging trainer travel, and submitting expenses on behalf of team
- entering ROI completions into employee records and BCIB database for reporting purposes
- synthesizing and graphing ROI training evaluations and draft delivery reports
- support other ROI administrated duties**Desired Skills & Qualifications**
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate, schedule and track multiple activities, meet deadlines, multi-task, and work well under pressure
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills and an ability to solve problems and “think on your feet”
- Ability to effectively manage your time and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong administrative, coordination, and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, excellent problem-solver and independent worker
- Reliable with a proactive, positive attitude and a strong work ethic
- Experience in implementation of diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives as they relate Indigenous communities and/or underrepresented groups would be an asset.
- Ability to travel to different areas of the province as required.

**Education & Experience**
- Post-secondary education would be an asset however a combination of experience and education would be considered.
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook) preferred.
- Data entry with Salesforce experience is an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
