**We currently have an opening in Cambridge, ON for an: Estimator/Project Co-ordinator**

The **Estimator/Project Co-ordinator **is responsible for preparing project files, co-ordinate all submittals, track all costs and changes to the project, prepare all utility locates and prepare all change orders for review.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Estimating and tendering complete construction projects
- Prepare parts of the estimate in conjunction with the estimating team
- Preparing preliminary estimates upon the request of Clients, Engineers, and Architects
- Preparing estimates for contemplated change orders or claims for ongoing projects
- Participates in marketing for new clientele and solicits for material pricing from suppliers

**Education, Experience & Skill Requirements**
- CET and/or Quantity Survey designation is preferred or actively pursuing further credentials
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in an estimating role with a General or Civil Contractor
- Experience in Project Management/Coordination, Construction Management, Cost Consulting, or direct field experience in construction of civil works, concrete structures, water and sewage plants, industrial and commercial facilities is an asset
- Time management and organization skills (pre-planning, multi-tasking, documentation)
- Strong negotiation skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Effective at problem-solving and decision making
- Strong interpersonal skills

**Working Conditions**
- Working in an office environment with computers and drawings
- Working flexible hours as required by deadlines
- Traveling occasionally as required for site visits
- Working in a high-paced environment during tender closing

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
