Heavy Civil Estimator and Project Manager

Randstad Engineering is partnering with a reputable client in the Waterloo region to find a skilled Project Manager / Estimator. The ideal candidate will have experience in Heavy Civil projects, including municipal construction, sewer and watermain installation, concrete works, and earth moving.
About the Role
As a Project Manager / Estimator, you will be responsible for managing and estimating projects from start to finish. This will involve working closely with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. Your expertise in Heavy Civil projects will be invaluable in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and estimate projects from concept to completion
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues
- Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and identify potential issues
- Provide regular project updates to clients and internal stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., engineering, construction management)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Heavy Civil projects as a project manager or estimator
- Strong knowledge of project management principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
