Administrative Client Support

The WorkPlace is a non-profit employment service office offering free services to job seekers and employers. We are proud to be a part of the Windsor Regional Employment Network. Our office is in Sarnia, Ontario and we provide services throughout areas of the County of Lambton. The WorkPlace Group is recruiting for an **Administrative Client Support** job incumbent.
The individual in this position will provide administrative support to the organization and be the first point of contact for a diverse population of clients accessing employment services.
**Hours of Work**:Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
**Responsibilities & Duties**:
- Provide general reception duties and administrative support within the Agency.
- Schedule client appointments, having a clear understanding of eligibility and identification requirements.
- Manage multiple tasks and meet time-sensitive deadlines.
- Maintain confidentiality of information regarding clients and company.
- Handle assignments independently with good judgement and critical thinking skills.
- Maintain accurate records, file appropriately, utilize a variety of databases.
- Ensure all resource and office supplies are maintained and up to date.
- Manage IT resources and coordinate contact with external IT support consultant.
- Co-ordinate intake of new clients and utilize knowledge of in-house programs and services to assist clients.
- Register clients for online training portal and provide support if needed.
- Maintain resource centre, including materials and equipment.
- Assist clients with resume, cover letter development and general employment/resource services.
- Responsible for maintaining website publishing content and design layout.
- Manage social media page to share current employer postings, training,
- Experience with WordPress is an asset.
**Educational Requirements**:
One-year diploma in Business Administration or equivalent years of experience required
