**Job Summary**
- The College of Pharmacy includes undergraduate and graduate programs with a mission to enhance health and wellness through pharmacy education, research and community service. Reporting to the** **Administrative Manager, the Administrative Receptionist provides general administrative and reception support, coordinates the casual and academic timetable, coordinates communications and media for the College, and provides general IT support.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Recovers costs, including, but not limited to, services such as photocopying, printing, stationary supplies, and follows up on invoices not paid. Processes journal entries, deposit forms, and purchase orders.
- Acts as receptionist for the College of Pharmacy, including, answering telephone and greeting visitors. Screens and responds to various inquiries from faculty, staff, students, potential students, pharmaceutical representatives, pharmacists, etc.
- Ensures that department a/v equipment remains in good working order and acts as an equipment resource for faculty and students.
- Completes room bookings and manages academic timetable for the department.
- Provides administrative support for the awards committee and chair, records and transcribes minutes, and arranges meetings.

**Note**
- Due to operational requirements, the successful applicant is required to work in-person on campus.

**Required Qualifications**
- Business/Office Administration diploma with approximately two to three years related work experience (or equivalent combination of training and experience).
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and the ability to work independently.

**Assets**
- Familiarity with Banner, Adobe CQ, and basic audio-visual skillset.
- Experience working in an academic environment.
