Bookkeeper/office Manager

Milton, Canada RLB LLP Full time

New Mechanical is a full-service mechanical contractor offering top quality service to all its customers for over two decades.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Handling and completing books, including organizing paperwork, weekly data entry, updating daily cash flows, preparing excel worksheets and financial statements, bank reconciliations
- Preparing and submitting government remittances and collections for three active companies along with five Holding companies
- Perform all payroll processing
- Preparing period and year end schedules
- Reconciling bank accounts and credit cards
- All month end and year end functions
- Processing bill payments and invoicing
- Responsible for accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Preparing bank deposits and maintaining correspondence with the financial institutions
- Track accounts payables and receivables
- Overseeing general office operations and other administrative duties/tasks as required

**Qualifications**
- Accounting Certificate or degree through college or university. CPA not required.
- In depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience
- Working knowledge of MS Office software and Sage Accounting is considered an asset
- High standard of integrity with exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to develop excellent working relationships
- Ability to work on own initiatives and meet deadlines
