**What you will be doing**:
As Manager, Fraud Insights & Intelligence, you will be a key member of our Fraud Strategy & Governance team and will provide strategic, tactical, and operational insights through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to enable decision making and to ensure for business initiative success. Leveraging your expertise in data visualization, guided analytics and strong analytical background, you will be required to organize and transform data into meaningful information for key stakeholders. You will be responsible for the full scorecard and metric development lifecycle that includes metric analysis, data profiling, data mapping, wireframe design, and dashboard creation.
**Is this role right for you? **In this role, you will**:
- Directly support the Fraud Strategy & Governance team to provide strategic analysis that will assist the business in combating fraud effectively in all fraud typologies impacting banking
- Primary objectives include analysis of fraud trends in all typologies and providing insights for opportunities, helping to define the success criteria for business initiatives and sharing recommendations for iterative improvements, and supporting risk assessments for enterprise initiatives to ensure effective controls are in place
- Develop and optimize reporting and analytics capabilities primarily using Google Cloud Platform (Looker, BigQuery) to identify opportunities, support building business cases, and assessing the success of business initiatives
- Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
- Analyze highly complex business rules and logic and translating those into technical design and implementations
- Identify common ingestion pattern and design BI ingestion framework
- Data wrangling to merge disjointed data sources and implement complex data transformation
- Conduct source data analysis and profiling to complete source to target mapping
- Logical and physical data modeling to develop highly optimized data infrastructure for fast querying of large volume of data
- Ensure data quality, security, and compliance requirements are met
**Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?**:

- Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar degrees.
- Expert knowledge and hands on experience with SQL Scripting
- Advanced knowledge of Data Visualization Tools - Looker/Power BI/Tableau and its best practices
- Experience working with Agile methodology for BI and analytics
- Advanced knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery) and cloud technology an asset
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain data and findings to a non-technical audience
- Proactive, organized, extremely analytical and problem-solving skills
