**Overview**

Act as a backup for other office staff:
Provide experience in sales, and act as assistant to General Manager

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and manage office operations and procedures
- Supervise administrative staff and allocate responsibilities
- Maintain office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layouts, and equipment procurement
- Handle basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts
- Develop and implement training programs for office staff
- Ensure effective communication within the office and with external parties
- Maintain office records, including employee records and financial documents

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as an Office Manager or similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of phone systems and phone etiquette
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience in supervising administrative staff
- Familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Ability to contact new customers

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Work Location: In person
