**E-Commerce Product Manager**

Canadian Down & Feather Company is looking for a Product Manager to help us grow by leading and managing the functionality and ongoing development and optimization of our direct-to-consumer e-commerce channel.

Canadian Down & Feather Company is a Canadian manufacturer of down, feather, and down alternative bedding products. We sell top-quality duvets, pillows, and mattress toppers through our online store and to national and independent retailers, hotels, and interior design professionals.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Site Features & Functionality**: Add new back-end and front-end features to improve the user experience and solve both consumer and business problems. Work on continuous improvement of site functionality. Evaluate emerging technologies in e-commerce.
- **Project Management**: Oversee major development projects, including new feature implementation, landing page design, expansion stores, app customizations, etc. Monitor progress and ensure all parties and vendors are following the project plan and delivering on time. Find and maintain strong relationships with 3rd party vendors and freelancers as needed.
- **Housekeeping**: Maintain website search and taxonomy. Ensure all content and pricing is up to date, accurate and optimized for SEO. Ensure all technologies and systems are performing at peak capacity. Troubleshoot as needed.
- **Budgets**: Work within budgets to meet targets and help inform budget changes.
- **Data Analysis & Reporting**: Monitor and strive for continuous improvement of key metrics like conversion rate, average order value, return rate, customer reviews, bounce rate, traffic. Measure the impact of feature and functionality updates.

**Qualifications**:
**Our ideal applicant will have the following skills and experience**:

- Shopify Plus development and customization (preferred) or Experience working with developers and strong understanding of best practices in development.
- Experience with SEO, PPC, data capture/compliance, and A/B testing.
- Knowledge of e-commerce trends and what’s happening in the market.
- Strong research skills to compile and compare multiple possible solutions and present a business case.
- French language (asset)

**A successful Product Manager with CDFC will need**:

- The willingness to be present and work closely with other departments, including Customer Service, Shipping, Marketing, and Production in order to gain an intimate understanding of our product, service, and brand identity and values.
- A meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- An understanding of, but irreverence toward traditionally accepted best practices and norms.
- Critical and out-of-the-box thinking skills, curiosity, and open-mindedness.
