As an IT Customer Support Specialist at Far Out Solutions, you'll be the cornerstone of our customer relations. Your role involves not just resolving technical issues but also building enduring relationships with our clients. You will ensure their satisfaction and loyalty through expert support and continuous engagement.
**Daily Tasks**:
- Provide Tier 2 level support in a dynamic Help Desk environment, addressing and resolving a broad range of technical issues related to software and hardware.
- Manage and maintain photocopiers and printers, including troubleshooting errors and performing regular maintenance tasks.
- Execute network support and troubleshooting, ensuring connectivity and network performance are maintained at optimal levels.
- Perform low voltage cabling for various devices, including photocopiers and printers, ensuring proper installation and functionality.
- Conduct tone testing and cable running, including network cabling to support onsite services such as Internet, CCTV, and access control systems.
- Oversee and maintain CCTV, access control points, and telephony systems including VOIP and analogue phone lines.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in Help Desk support, preferably Tier 2 level, with a strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Solid background in hardware and software support.
- Experienced in the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of photocopiers and printers.
- Proficient in various networking tasks including cable management, tone testing, and maintaining internet connectivity and network installations.
- **Expert knowledge in low voltage electrical systems and cabling, with the ability to independently manage and troubleshoot these systems critical for operational integrity.**:
- Practical knowledge of CCTV, access control systems, and telephony including VOIP and analogue lines.

Pay: $19.00-$26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
