Your Opportunity:
As an administrative support V staffing liaison for the medicine program, reporting directly to the Patient Care Manager, you will undertake a range of administrative duties including, but not limited to managing daily flowsheets and all timekeeping related forms (e.g., OT/ On Call/ Callback) to the PSS Team, ensure all time off request are entered properly as per the collective agreement, working in collaboration with the PSS medicine desk, provision of staff for the medicine units for immediate, next day, and future needs, ensure daily unit staff baselines are satisfied, build up reports and audits as well as meeting with site managers throughout the shift to discuss staffing concerns, regular meetings with the medicine unit managers to discuss requests and vacancies within the portfolios. There is strong growth potential in this position to include working with the RMS system and other recruitment platforms. As an administrative support V staffing liaison, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedure, practices, and initiatives that may impact staff schedules and safe patient care within the program. This position works autonomously, demands strong written and verbal communication skills, and excellent working knowledge of the ESP Scheduler Program. The Staffing Liaison provides support to the unit managers by ensuring scheduling data is recorded correctly in a timely and accurate manner in ESP. This may include building and managing excel spreadsheets to capture data trends within the program as well as reviewing reports daily to capture and ensure the staffing needs of the unit are addressed.
