**Your Opportunity**:
The Administrative Support V provides diversified and advanced administrative expertise to the Director, Transplant Services, for UAH and Edmonton Zone. This is a demanding position that requires initiative and the ability to work with mínimal supervision and direction. The Administrative Support V is responsible for ensuring the effective functioning of a fast paced office. The Administrative Support V assists with the day-to-day operations by providing a full range of administrative duties including: scheduling and organizing meetings, preparing and drafting letters, minutes, communications, presentations, spreadsheets and other documentation as required for the Director. Researches, organizes, prioritizes and responds to requests for information to support programs, activities and committee work. Distributes relevant communications as appropriate, enters and compiles statistical data, acts as a central contact for issues related to the portfolio. Maintains an awareness of the activities and priorities in the Director's area of responsibility to be able to respond to requests for information. Maintains effective liaison with and coordinates information and activities for both internal and external customers

**Required Qualifications**:
Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration).

**Additional Required Qualifications**:
Minimum 3 years progressive administrative support experience required. Advanced computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite required. Experience with AHS systems required, including but not limited to ePeople, RMS, Markview and eManager. Ability to understand financial information to assist with budget and Organizational Best Practices required. Accuracy and thorough knowledge of spelling, punctuation and grammar required. Excellent attention to detail required. Demonstrated high degree of independence with the ability to work with mínimal supervision. Ability to build relationships by establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with others, both internally and externally, to achieve the goals of the department and AHS. Ability to focus on stakeholder needs by anticipating, understanding, and responding to the needs of stakeholders to meet or exceed their expectations. Requires skill and experience in identifying problems, resolving issues where possible or referring to the appropriate team member.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
Demonstrated high degree of professionalism, accuracy, diplomacy, judgment and discretion is preferred. Ability to follow and handle advanced or specialized duties requiring extensive knowledge of the department and AHS policies and procedures is preferred. Transplant experience preferred.
