**Job Description Summary**: As the lead for demand generation and content development, you would support Grid Solutions and its business lines to define and execute content strategies and marketing campaigns aligned to business growth and objectives. The role will have a key responsibility in raising brand awareness and lead projects that share our mission, vision, and impact as it relates to grid modernization and electrification.

**Essential Responsibilities**
- Oversee the development, execution, and strategic efforts of company voice and messaging
- Creative and editorial involvement in crafting Grid Solutions’ rebranding initiatives
- Develop and execute thought leadership programs and strategy
- Articulate compelling vision of the brand voice and conceptualization
- Curate content across multiple platforms
- Create content strategies for the organization
- Follow SEO best practices
- Analyze key performance indicators to generate more business for the company and ensure content performs as expected
- Collaborate and coordinate with cross functional, global teams on content creation
- Perform quality assurance
- Manage editorial calendar for synchronization of conferences/events and marketing objectives
- Research, write, and edit various technical and marketing content including blogs, static web copy, video scripts, presentations, news-in-brief articles, case studies, social media collateral, and more
- Identify opportunities to improve content management processes
- Leverage communication channels to build relationships, inspire confidence, and influence decisions with key stakeholders
- Build relationships and work collaboratively with senior leadership and SMEs across the organization

**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field
- 10+ years of communications experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Proficient in Microsoft suite of programs

**Desired Characteristics**
- Time management and prioritization skills
- Ability to work independently while also being a team player
- Ability to conduct independent research
- Familiarity with various style guides including the Chicago Manual of Style, APA format, and MLA
- Basic understanding of SEO principles
- Industry knowledge an asset
- Capable of following strategic direction and adhere to brand standards while also being a motivated self-starter who can debate philosophies, share creative input, and manage timelines
