Replenishment and Supply Chain Demand Planner

**GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB**:
The Replenishment and Supply Chain Demand Planner is responsible for the replenishment of the SKUs stocked at CWI Lighting distribution center. Key goal is to maintain inventory levels to meet sales order demand while achieving inventory DOI targets. This individual will effectively manage the placement and/or replenishment of a designated product category to maintain an in-stock standard while achieving planned turnover and revenue growth. Additionally, the planner is responsible for Supply Chain support, including but not limited to; reports generation, internal data integrity and other as requested.
This is a full time in-person position at the company's headquarter in Toronto.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Evaluates products’ inventory DOI to goals for products stocked at distribution locations. Determines the required SKUs and quantities required to maintain DOI goals & service level goals. Creates the POs to replenish the various distribution locations.
- Creates and assess the company’s PFR (Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment) strategy across the distribution locations to avoid slow moving, obsolescence impact.
- Oversees the transportation for replenishment POs and collaborate with carriers and custom brokers to ensure the timely delivery of goods.
- Coordinate with suppliers to guarantee timely delivery and adherence to lead times.
- Tracks the flow of product from plants to the distribution locations.
- Expedites replenishment activities and coordinates expedited freight or stocking.
- Generates inventory and supply reports to assist with Supply Chain operations.
- Utilizes Power BI, excel and cloud-based BSS to assist with replenishment requirements determination.
- Reviews and maintains critical material master data related to PFR’s.
- Conducts daily inventory analysis to solve inventory problems.
- Positions and maintain inventories, in such a way to balance customer fill rate, inventory carrying costs, efficient production scheduling and optimal transportation.
- Proactively communicate potential problems or issues impacting the business to appropriate departments.
- Provides backup and support for other Supply Chain functions, including reporting and basic analysis for the department.
- Collaborate with warehouse managers to investigate stock inconsistencies and reconciles them within the appropriate system to maintain inventory accuracy in the warehouse.
- Monitors, investigates, and corrects any web cycle variances on purchase order of PFRs.
- Works on projects with the ability to analyze, present and implement new actions concepts towards cost reduction, service level improvement or supply process improvement.
- Communicates with suppliers to clarify requirements and POs placed.
**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**
- B.S. Degree in Materials Management, Supply Chain, or Procurement preferred.
- 5 years experience in consumer goods’ inventory management and replenishment (preferably in the Home Improvement industry).
**INTERPERSONAL SKILLS**:
- Detail-oriented.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and team-based skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
- Self-starter as well as a problem solver is a required asset.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Strong math and language skills are critical for success.
- Passion for accuracy
**TECHNICAL SKILLS**:
- Knowledge of Power BI, spreadsheet and word processing software required (i.e. Excel and Word).
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, replenishment, and purchasing.
- Must have a strong understanding of the logistics dynamics.
- Multi-site inventory management a plus.
**BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION**:
The salary range for applicants in this position generally ranges between $65,000 and $75,000. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operations, needs, and other considerations permitted by law.
Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
