**THE ROLE**:
Under the direction of the Manager of People & Culture (PC), the People & Culture Coordinator will support a variety of human resources functions including onboarding, health and safety, data entry and tracking, recruitment and selection and other Human Resources (HR) projects.

**GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but not limited to)**:
**Administration**
- Setting up new hires in HRIS systems, tracking and ensuring completion of all new hire documentation
- Coordinating, collecting and tracking annual Professional Memberships and Liability Insurance for registered professionals
- Liaise with Payroll and updating databases (e.g. status changes, promotions, LOA's, terminations)
- Assist with Lawyer requests, Criminal Records Check Applications
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients and representing the People & Culture team as a solution-focused and supportive team

**Health and Safety**
- Assist People and Culture Manager in the implementation of Health and Safety (H&S) policies and procedures.
- Update Health and Safety records, presentations, training and documents
- Under the guidance of the People and Culture Manager, will schedule and ensure Health and Safety activities and drills throughout the year are completed in all locations; will update the tracking sheet in order to monitor completion
- Schedule the training of H&S Representatives, committee members, management representatives

**Recruitment and Selection**
- May assist with developing and updating Social Media content
- Assist with reference checks
