We are a large clinic located in the east end of Ottawa.

- Medical Reception
- Proficiency in medical software & data management
- Scheduling & coordinating patient appointment for consultation & endoscopy procedures
- Creating & managing electronic medical records (EMR)
- Scanning & filing documents
- Performing tasks originating from the triage of referrals
- Assisting with the preparation of documents for clinics & endoscopy procedures
- Ensuring patient privacy & confidentiality
- Liaising with patients
- Liaising with physicians & nursing staff
- Supporting administrative supervisor as required
- Supporting clinic manager when required
- Perform other related office administrative duties as required

Required Education
- Office or Medical Administration Certificate/Diploma

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Prior experience with EMR
- Knowledge of general office procedures
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word & Power Point
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication abilities (superior customer service)
- Attention to detail
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Ability to carry out instructions provided in written or verbal form
- Proactive and flexible approach to managing tasks efficiently
- Empathy, patient centered mindset
- **Flexible availability (week days, occasional weekend)**

**1 Year Commitment**

**Starting salary: $20/hour** with room for growth. This position comes with compensation in lieu of benefits & additional compensation for weekend shifts.
