MyoHealth Rehab and Wellness Centre has an exciting opportunity for an **Administration Specialist** to join our fast-paced private rehabilitation and wellness clinic. **This full-time role is a maternity leave position that will transition to a permanent role in our growing clinic. **Responsibilities include: the timely preparation, processing, management and follow-up of patient files, treatment plans and related documents related to Motor Vehicle Accident patient care. Experience in a health-care or private clinic setting and familiarity with the HCAI system is a definite asset.

Joining this multi-disciplinary clinic with two locations in the GTA (Scarborough and Etobicoke) - this position is **based in our Scarborough location **and offers the right individual an opportunity to join a team of professionals in providing exemplary care to our patients who have complex medical issues. **Responsibilities will include**
- Prepare and submit a variety of documents related to a patient's file including managing the process from start to finish ensuring all steps are followed to complete the submission process.
- Coordinate with in-house and external practitioners to obtain all necessary information and signatures to complete the documentation.
- Interact with patients both in person and virtually to obtain information and signatures.
- Submit documentation and follow-up on approvals so that care can begin in a timely manner.
- Manage and ensure all updates and or changes to paperwork are properly documented, submitted and coordinated with practitioners and patients.
- Liaise with internal team members to ensure all practitioners, patients and admin team are updated with regard to OCF18 documents.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Post-secondary education in Administration or related discipline.
- Minimum 1 year of related experience in a similar position; experience in healthcare, private clinic or insurance an asset.
- Strong computer knowledge including HACI software, MS Office;
- Strong attention to detail, time management and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to situations in a highly dynamic and quick-paced environment.
- Excellent communication (oral and written)
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Sound judgment, tact, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
