The Extended Care Coordinator will be responsible for the following:

- Overseeing and leading the Extended Care program at Saga Summer Camps for campers in SK-Grade 7.
- Caring for and managing campers and their behavior to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all who attend.
- Overseeing a fun, safe and effective program for campers.
- Ensuring that all aspects of the Extended Care program work together.
- Overseeing sign-in and sign-out process for Extended Care campers.
- Ensuring accurate communication with parents of Extended Care campers regarding camp related information

The Day Camp Program Coordinator will be responsible for the following:

- Developing, resourcing and implementing a fun, safe and effective program for campers who have finished senior kindergarten to grade four.
- Providing clear responsibilities to the program support staff.
- Working with admin toward the ordering and purchasing of equipment for an effective program.
- Overseeing the development and care of camper teams for weekly programming.
- Providing on-the-job training, support and encouragement for volunteers at Day Camp.
- Ensuring volunteers are resourced with all they need to perform their roles effectively.

The Day Camp Program Support staff will be responsible for the following:

- Supporting the program coordinators toward a fun, safe and effective program for campers who have finished senior kindergarten to grade four.
- Developing and implementing themes, crafts, games and activities.
- Supporting the weekly camp BBQ.

The Spin Camp Program Coordinator will be responsible for the following:

- Developing, resourcing and implementing a fun, safe and effective program for campers who have finished grades five to seven.
- Providing clear responsibilities to the program support staff.
- Working with admin toward the ordering and purchasing of equipment for an effective program.
- Overseeing the development and care of camper teams for weekly programming.
- Providing on-the-job training, support and encouragement for volunteers at Spin Camp.
- Ensuring volunteers are resourced with all they need to perform their roles effectively.

The Spin Camp Program Support staff will be responsible for the following:

- Supporting the program coordinators toward a fun, safe and effective program for campers who have finished grades five to seven.
- Developing and implementing themes, crafts, games and activities.
- Supporting the weekly camp BBQ

The Volunteer Director will be directly responsible for the following:

- Recruiting quality high school and Adult volunteers, and placing volunteers in appropriate roles and teams to best fill the needs of Saga Camp and to invest in Volunteer growth.
- Oversight and implementation of volunteer training, including Plan to Protect, Leadership development, orientation, and camp names for volunteers.
- Building a culture of encouragement and support of volunteers.
- Providing coaching and direction to Volunteers, as well as providing them with resources they need to successfully fulfill their roles.
- Oversight and implementation of social events for Volunteers to build team unity
- Invest relationally in Volunteers.
- Ensure the care, coaching and empowerment of volunteers across the camps.
- Building towards a culture where volunteers are able to grow in their leadership, experience support and camaraderie, and contribute to the mission of Saga Summer Camps in a valuable way.
- Resourcing and supporting volunteers as needed.

The Camper Care Lead will be directly responsible for the following:

- Working collaboratively with the Day and Spin Camp teams, implement strategies and policies for behaviour management at Saga Summer Camps.
- Lead, support and mentor volunteers and staff in the care of children with exceptionalities and behavioral challenges.
- Engage in challenging behavior situations throughout the summer.
- Ensures positive, professional communication with families of campers or volunteers with exceptionalities or behavioural challenges on an ongoing basis.
- Supporting the care of campers across all camp teams.

*All of these positions look over and support our campers and our Volunteers

**Job Type**: Seasonal
Contract length: 2 months

**Salary**: From $15.50 per hour
