HealthHub Solutions is a Canadian technology company dedicated to bringing innovative digital solutions to the Canadian healthcare industry. Our products include integrated bedside terminals (IBTs) and the native myHealthHub operating system, which is a fully integrated platform to develop tools for healthcare professionals. **Next Gen Leadership Program (NGLP)**:
HealthHub’s full-time Next Gen Leadership Program is aimed at high-potential new graduates looking to find their passion and quickly build their professional skill set by rotating through a variety of challenging roles. We are developing the next generation of world-class business leaders by providing energetic and driven go-getters looking to make a difference in the Canadian healthcare space a personalized platform to accelerate their career growth. Rotation and final landing opportunities include business strategy/consulting, digital strategy, business intelligence, product management, marketing, finance, and sales operations.
**Summer 2023 NGLP Business Strategy Internship**:
The NGLP summer internship serves as a gateway into the full-time program. As a business strategy intern, you will have two primary avenues through which to drive forward various initiatives:
- Executive-level group consulting project
- Dedicated role on a high-visibility strategy team
The team consulting project will center around a CEO-level business challenge whose outcomes directly tie to a strategic priority. Your role will be a problem solver that works with peers and senior leaders to define the underlying challenges, perform deep-dive analyses, build business case-backed strategies, and present final recommendations to senior executives.
In your dedicated role on a strategy team, you will have ownership over one or more key initiatives. With the direct support of a senior manager and dedicated peer support, your role will be to convert challenges and ideas into creative solutions within a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. Throughout, you will have the opportunity to closely network with peers and full-time Next Gen Leaders, as well as receive dedicated personal mentorship from a senior executive.
Successful completion of the internship can result in advanced enrollment into the full-time Next Gen Leadership Program. (June 2024 start date) Upon graduating from school, you will pick up where you left off and continue developing invaluable skills and leadership qualities through various rotations across the business before securing a landing role that best suits your skills and passions.
**The ideal summer Next Gen Leader**:
- Excited to make a difference in the Canadian healthcare space
- Confident communicator able to influence team members to work towards a desired outcome
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to solve challenging problems backed by sound insights
- Leverage data to identify business insights and influence change with stakeholders
- Team player with demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate cross-functionally
- Strong customer experience mentality that puts the customer first while being accountable for financial outcomes
- Thought leader that is comfortable with decision making, accountability, and ownership
- Organized self-starter that is excited by challenges and driven to try new ideas and create meaningful change
- Willingness to learn and leverage powerful analytics platforms/tools (SQL, Power BI, etc.)
- Currently in the penultimate year of an undergraduate university program in business/commerce, engineering, mathematics, computer science, or related fields, with expected graduation before June 2024
- Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset, though necessary for a role in Québec
- Available for full-time employment from June to early August 2023
