**Summary of Job**_

**Summary of Duties**:Under the supervision of the Camp Director, the Camp Leader is responsible to help the Camp Director and Camp Supervisor execute their weekly program; providing care and supervision to all campers in the program.
- **Specific Responsibilities**_
- The Camp Leader will lead games and activities for children between the ages of 4 and 12 years old. Procedures and descriptions of the programming and activities will be provided ahead of time. The Camp Leader should be familiar with them and prepared every day for the activities. As Little Champ Camp is about creating a champion attitude we would like someone who has that attitude already developed.
- The Camp Leader will supervise campers throughout the day and ensure their safety as required and support the Camp Director as required. They should also ensure that equipment, facilities, and grounds are safe to play areas for children.
- The Camp Leader will familiarize him/herself with all the campers under her supervision and the ones of his or her CIT's and ensure that all medical concerns/allergies are reviewed and understood.
- The Camp Leader is required to program plan every week, with the supervision of the Camp Supervisor.
- The Camp Leader is required to go in and supervise campers in the pool every day they are working. No exceptions.
- The Camp Leader will carry out any other duties as assigned by the Camp Director. and Supervisor.
- The Camp Leader is required to attend our staff training and complete pre-employment training. The campus coordinator will provide onsite mentoring as required daily as well as through weekly meetings of goals and performance. The staff will have access to an internal procedure as well as detailed curriculum and day schedule documents.
- All Camp Leaders are required to have a CPR and First Aid as well as a clear criminal record check (if above 18)

- Must have good interpersonal skills.
- Experience with children is an asset.
- Experience in camps is an asset.
- A sunny and positive attitude is required.
- A high level of energy and flexibility is required.
- Must be able to swim.
- Valid CPR and First Aid.
- Valid criminal record check ( if 18 years old)
- Must be able to work the full summer between 8:30 am to 4:30 pm from July 3, 2023, to September 1, 2023.
- HIGH Five Certified is an asset, will need to be willing to obtain if hired on.
- Previous experience and CPR + First Aid are an asset*

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $14.00-$16.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
