**Type: Full-time ON-SITE ROLE**

**Key Accountabilities and Activities but not limited to**:

- Provide accounting and clerical assistance to VP Finance and Accounting, including a variety of accounting, bookkeeping and financial tasks.
- Manage incoming mail and its scanning and distribution.
- Manage outgoing mail, postage and physical mailing of documents and letters including coordinating courier pickups.
- Downloading Company Statements from portals for direct bill for P&C and Financial Services.
- Reconciling direct bill statements for P&C.
- Entering and reconciling the Financial Services Insurer Statements.
- Daily downloads and running the CAN reports and re transacting the CAN transactions with proper transaction codes.
- Reconciling Agency Bill statements.
- Ensure all invoices are properly documented, scanned, and saved in proper folders on the server.
- Assist in preparation of financial statement and month-end process
- Deposit of e-transfers and cheques in BMS.
- Entered approved payments in BMS.
- Issuing cheques for approved payments including preparing team commission statements.
- Support in the onboarding process for new team members including but not limited to facilitating tours, setting up employee workspaces, new employee profile creation in our systems, scheduling of tasks required to be completed.

**Role Requirements**:

- Completion of post-secondary education in Finance, Business Administration, Commerce and or related field.
- A minimum of 2-3 year’s experience in an administrative support role and bookkeeping, preferably in the insurance services industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and QuickBooks Online and Desktop.
- High standard of integrity with exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Excellent work ethic, dependable, and organized.
- Ability to work on own initiatives and meet deadlines.
- A commitment to collaborate, communicate, and engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- High standard of excellence, accuracy and consistency, personal integrity, and accountability.

- Strong organizational skills to respond promptly and react to issues appropriately within given time constraints;

- Located at 401 and Weston Rd. will be moving to Keele and 407 in the summer

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per hour
