**Qualifications**
- QuickBooks: 2 years (required)
- Bookkeeping: 2 years (5 years preferred)
- MS Office Suite (required)

**Experience**:

- The successful applicant will have at least 5 years of experience in a complex accounting environment, preferably in Property Management.
- Administrative Assistant abilities including multi-tasking, organization, problem solving, and strong communication skills would be considered a strong asset.
- Must be able to work in a multi-company/client environment.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Ensure all transactions are recorded correctly in accordance with the accounting principles and in correspondence with the law.
- Processing transactions for multiple companies
- Work closely with the financial manager
- Reconcile payments, bank statements, and rent rolls
- Post transactions in QuickBooks
- Prepare Bank deposits
- HST (monthly)
- Proactively ensure bills are accurate
- Post and prepare payments
- Reconcile vendor accounts
- Prepare inter-company invoices & management fees
- Accounts receivable including collections
- Commercial TMI recuperations
- Government reports and remittances

Language: English. Other languages an asset.

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 22 - 28 per week
