**Job Overview**:
The IT Operations Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the management of enterprise software subscriptions, coordinating IT projects, liaising with vendors, and providing operational support across the IT department. This position plays a key role in maintaining a secure and efficient IT operational environment, supporting both internal users and the company's online retail operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Enterprise Software Management: Assist in managing enterprise software subscriptions, ensuring compliance with licenses and vendor agreements.
- System Maintenance and Support: Support the maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring operational efficiency and security. Provide first-level support for IT-related issues, escalating as necessary.
- Vendor Liaison: Serve as a point of contact for IT vendors and service providers, coordinating support and service delivery.
- Project Coordination: Assist the IT Manager in planning and implementing IT projects, ensuring objectives are met within timelines and budgets.
- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation of IT operations, including system configurations and software licenses. Prepare operational reports for the IT Manager.
- Disaster Recovery Support: Support the development and maintenance of disaster recovery plans, participating in testing to ensure effectiveness.
- User Training and Communication: Facilitate training sessions on new systems and software, promoting effective use of IT resources across the company.
- Budget and Inventory Management: Assist in managing the IT budget and maintaining an inventory of IT assets and supplies.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3-4 years of experience in an IT support or coordination role, with exposure to system administration and project coordination.
- Familiarity with IT service management principles and practices, such as ITIL.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Proficiency in IT documentation and project management tools.
- Onsite work requirement in Ottawa, Ontario, with excellent computer, people, and vendor management skills.

**Working Conditions**:

- Primarily office-based.
- May require occasional after-hours availability for system maintenance or IT emergencies.
