HR Generalist

**PURPOSE**:
Our HR Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the HR department by handling a variety of administrative and operational tasks.

We are seeking a motivated Human Resources Coordinator to join our dynamic team for a 12-18 month maternity leave contract. If you are passionate about human resources and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we welcome you to be part of the CFT family.

**Duties**
- Scheduling interviews and managing interview logistics.
- Preparing offer letters and employment contracts.
- Facilitating the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing orientation materials, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
- Coordinating background checks, reference checks, and other pre-employment screenings.
- Respond to HR inquiries and provide assistance
- Maintain personnel records and ensure employment requirements are met
- Assist with scheduling, meetings, training sessions, and HR events.
- Produce reports on HR activities and assist with ad-hoc projects
- Coordinate Joint Health and Safety Committee activities
- Support other departments as needed

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in HR coordination or related roles
- Familiarity with ADP, or similar HR software
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 15 months

Pay: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
