Overview
Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources, the Human Resources Coordinator plays a critical role by ensuring HR programs and initiatives meet employee and business objectives for a diverse group including salary and hourly staff. The position provides guidance to employees and responds to a variety of Human Resources related questions.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage and administer various HR programs and processes, including employee onboarding, Payroll hours calculations, Attendance management and employee relations.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to employees regarding HR policies and procedures.
- Assist with the development and implementation of HR initiatives and programs.
- Conduct training sessions for employees on various HR topics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational goals and objectives.
- Create Schedules using Excel
- Communicate all schedules and last-minute schedule changes with all our supervisors and managers.
- Data input payroll hours weekly. Must be proficient with basic math skills.
**Experience**:
- Diploma or Certificate in Human Resource Management or equivalent experience in Human Resources.
- 1-2+ years’ experience in HR generalist role. Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures.
- Familiarity with HR sourcing strategies and techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
