**About the role**:
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate a seamless onboarding experience for all new hires.
- Administer HR policies and procedures, including but not limited to employee benefits, performance management, and employee relations.
- Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related inquiries, issues, and concerns.
- Support the roll-out, adoption and maintenance of HRIS
- Support the implementation of training and development initiatives
- Assist with the development and implementation of HR initiatives, programs, and policies to support the company's strategic objectives.
- Conduct research and stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in HR to continuously improve HR processes and practices.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure HR initiatives align with business objectives and contribute to a positive work environment.

**Qualifications & Competencies**
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a human resources role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software.
- HR certification (e.g., CHRP) is a plus.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada
