Position Overview
Blue-Pencil is seeking a dynamic Head of Sales to lead our sales team towards unprecedented growth and success. With a mission to achieve 30% year-over-year business growth, this role demands a leader with a strong track record in sales management, coaching, and performance optimization. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute innovative sales strategies, alongside close collaboration with our marketing manager to ensure our sales efforts are supported by solid marketing initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Strategize and Lead: Develop and implement sales strategies that align with our growth objectives, focusing exclusively on sales to drive business expansion and increase market share.
- Team Management: Oversee the sales team, providing coaching, feedback, and direction to ensure the achievement of sales targets and career growth.
- Collaboration with Marketing: Work closely with the fractional marketing manager to align sales strategies with marketing campaigns, ensuring a cohesive approach to market penetration and customer acquisition.
- Performance Optimization: Conduct regular sales meetings to monitor targets, discuss strategic improvements, and encourage a culture of continuous growth and learning.
- Hands-on Sales Guidance: Offer direct involvement and expert guidance in significant sales opportunities, helping to secure major accounts and strategic partnerships.
- Talent Development: Manage all aspects of the sales team's development, including hiring, training, performance reviews, and career progression, ensuring a motivated and skilled sales force.
- Sales Analysis: Regularly analyze sales data and KPIs to identify trends, adjust strategies, and capitalize on market opportunities.
- Achieve Growth Targets: Set and communicate clear, ambitious sales targets, fostering a driven team environment that exceeds expectations and significantly contributes to revenue growth.
**Requirements**:
- Proven Sales Leadership: Experience in sales management within a B2B environment, demonstrating success in leading teams to surpass sales objectives.
