**Job description**
Since opening in 1984, Van-Whole Produce has remained the leading experts in produce trading by providing high-quality and fresh produce to its clients. With our continuous expansion of client networks, we now provide fresh produce to more than 1,300 produce markets across Canada. To this day, we are still committed to provide personalized attention, value-added service and provide the highest quality in produce to our clients. We place our customers first by bringing over 400 varieties of fresh produce from over 40 different countries.
The Operations Administrator is responsible for administrative and clerical services for the Operations Manager.
**ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide general administrative assistance including data entry, completing various paperwork, photocopying, paper/electronic filing and documentation preparation and control.
- Coordinates warehouse supply inventory by logging, ordering and monitoring supply levels
- Perform a variety of administrative and clerical office support activities for multiple staff ensuring timely adherence and deadlines
- Prepare, review and modify general templates, letters, reports, PowerPoint presentations, Word documents, Excel workbooks and other correspondence materials
- Maintain and monitor warehouse supply inventory levels and place orders as required
- Work with other assistants in the company to complete tasks or projects
- Assists in administrative duties assigned by Operations Support Team and Operations Manager
- Perform other duties and tasks assigned or required that are consistent with the nature and scope of the position
**QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS**
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Operations Management, and Logistics.
- Proven ability and willingness to learn and utilize new technology
- Previous experience in the supply chain industry is preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, organizational, planning, problem-solving and follow-up skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and have strong time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Office 365, especially in SharePoint and Power Applications
- Proven ability to work independently and exercising excellent judgement and initiatives

Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
