Territory Business Manager

Job Description:
- Develops & implements territory account plan.- Achieves sales objectives (monthly & annually).- Ensures call frequency & reach targets are met for assigned physicians.- Develops & effectively implements the territory CME and OLA plans.- Maintains expenses to assigned budget.- Completes daily / weekly / monthly reports (call recording, communication, expense, sample requisitions, etc.) to time requirements.- Collaborates with MSL’s & other regional team members to achieve objectives.- Intake and reporting of complaints and adverse reaction reports (ADRs) to the appropriate Ferring Canada team, as per the current reporting procedures.- Develops & maintains business relationships with HCP’s in the territory; providing customer service / assistance as required.- Collaborates with marketing, business intelligence and medical regarding territory insights, field intelligence and idea sharing.
REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE (minimum requirements for the job) - includes equivalents:
EDUCATION- University degree, or equivalent post-secondary education- Academic background in a related scientific discipline: biology, chemistry, medicine, pharmacy, etc., or business, is preferred
EXPERIENCE- 3-5 years experience in Sales and/or Marketing within the pharmaceutical sector, medical device, or related healthcare industry.- Experience in Gastroenterology therapeutic area is an asset
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE- Proficient in MS Office- Strong selling skills with demonstrated results- Effective written and verbal communication skills, strong presentation skills- Excellent organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills- Advanced interpersonal skills- Strong receptiveness to coaching and feedback- Self-directed and driven to accomplish goals and meet deadlines- Ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment- Effective time management skills and ability to prioritize workload- High degree of ethical behaviour- Valid driver’s license is required- Bilingual (French/English) is an asset- Preferred location - Ontario Central East
