Administrative Assistant, Human Resources

**Norfolk Association for Community Living (NACL) exists to promote and support the inclusion of people with disabilities in all aspects of community life.**
We are looking for an individual to fill the position of **Administrative Assistant to Human Resources**.
Under the general supervision of the Human Resources Manager, the incumbent is responsible for:
- Administrative support for NACL’s internal and external recruitment and hiring process
- Core involvement in recruitment based advertising and promotional projects
- Actively supporting the orientation and onboarding of new employees
- Tracking and organization of all employee training
- Assist with corporate benefits administration
- Collection and maintenance of data and reports related to all Human
Resource functions including seniority documents, Health and Safety reports, vacancies and workforce needs
- Liaise with scheduling and payroll personnel
- Portraying a positive attitude, act as a role model, communicating responsibly, professionally and objectively to anyone having contact with the administration office
- Ensuring Provincial compliance processes and documentation requirements remain in alignment with all government regulations
- Ensuring all information received is kept confidential and communicated to the appropriate personnel
- Responsible for correspondence, reports, memos, and other documents specific to employees
- Skilled in the processes of HRIS
**General Position Requirements**:
- Completion of post-secondary education in office administration or equivalent education plus three to five years of work experience as an
Administrative Assistant.
- Exceptional technical skills necessary to work proficiently with Microsoft
365 and the Windows Office environment (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). Demonstrated computer literacy and programming. Experience with employee scheduling software is preferred.
- Knowledgeable in maintaining data, correspondence, documents, reports, memos and forms.
- Possession of excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, is essential.
- Requires the ability to organize workload to meet multiple demands and accommodate changing priorities
- Access to reliable transportation to execute all aspects of the position.
