As the Manager of Operations Support Indigenous Relations at Ledcor, you will report to the Senior Manager, Indigenous Relations. This role involves leading the development and implementation of Indigenous Affairs Operations Support services, ensuring industry-leading client solutions for Indigenous engagement and inclusion throughout project execution. You will oversee a team dedicated to providing efficient and effective support services, aligning with both client and project requirements. Additionally, you will play a key role in supporting the Indigenous Affairs Strategic and Tactical Plans.

This position can be based in any of our major offices: Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver, or potentially Toronto.

Essential Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies with client and project teams to ensure compliance with Indigenous engagement commitments and client requirements.
- Provide targeted support and resources to project teams to achieve short-term operational goals.
- Lead and supervise a specialized team within Indigenous Affairs operations, setting clear priorities and ensuring efficient task completion.
- Communicate regularly with senior leadership, delivering detailed reports on operational support services and key achievements.
- Guide resources and manage activities to provide senior leaders with insights for informed decision-making on Indigenous engagement strategies.
- Minimize errors and promptly address issues to maintain a positive team reputation.
- Supervise, coach, and motivate team members to meet deadlines and operational targets.
- Ensure support services align with client needs and internal plans, tracking and reporting on service levels.
- Support the execution of Indigenous Affairs Strategic and Tactical Plans, ensuring alignment with broader strategic objectives.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within Indigenous Affairs operations.
- Coordinate with senior leadership to align operational priorities with the company’s long-term vision.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, Indigenous relations, or a related field, with a proven ability to develop and implement strategies supporting operational and project goals.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex client and stakeholder relationships, especially in Indigenous engagement and inclusion.
- 2-3 years of experience in a management role, overseeing operational support functions and directly supervising teams.
- Strong Indigenous awareness and cultural competency.
- Experience with large infrastructure or heavy industrial projects
- Excellent professional writing and communication skills.
- High computer literacy, including proficiency in project management and data analysis tools.
- Ability to travel 25-50% of the time.
