**Responsibilities**:
Full cycle recruiting including posting positions, sourcing, screening, interviews reference checks
Conduct Associate new-hire orientations
Conduct exit interviews
Maintain electronic personnel files and records in a timely and confidential manner
Conduct and analyze compensation market surveys
Manage Image Wear for all Associates
Union - Attend meetings and negotiations on behalf of the organization when necessary
Training & Development - register Associates and ensure we meet the 1% Requirements
Reporting - Pay Equity, Parity Committee, others as required
Government Enquiries - respond to EI and Service Canada enquiries
Assist in the processing of bi-weekly payroll for multiple union & non-union groups using Ceridian’s Dayforce, when needed
Processing of all terminations, inactivations, and adjustments
Respond to Associates, Leaders and external agencies regarding compulsory/company deductions and other items
Processing of all Accounts Payable for payroll-related payments (RSP, Charitable, Union Dues, CNESST, garnishee remittances, etc.)
Assist Human Resources, health & safety and payroll team members as needed
Other duties as required

Education & Experience
Human Resources Degree or Designation
2 years of Human Resources related experience
Payroll experience preferred
Payroll Compliance Practitioner certification is an asset
Union & CNESST experience preferred
Knowledge of applicable legislation

Technical Requirements
Intermediate proficiency with Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint)
Ability to learn and adapt to changing systems and new technology
Strong written and verbal skills in both French & English
Experience with Ceridian Dayforce required
