Reporting directly to the animation management, the rigger will operate within a multidisciplinary and collaborative environment, playing a key role in the creation of high-quality animations in harmony with the art, animation, and design departments."

**Job requirements**:
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Design character rigs in Maya.
- Collaborate closely with the technical animation team to automate and optimize rigging processes.
- Perform rigging and skinning for characters, objects, and facial rigs to produce flawless, high-quality animations, adhering to recognized standards.
- Work collaboratively with artists, modelers, technical animators, and the animation team to understand the game's vision and rigging requirements.
- Find a balance between artistic aspects and technical constraints with the assistance of technical directors.
- Create proxy meshes to enhance performance.
- Ensure a nomenclature in line with project standards and selection sets in key scenes, thereby facilitating the work of animators.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Minimum of three to four (3-4) years of relevant experience in the gaming industry or equivalent in Maya rigging.
- Participation in at least one (1) game as a rigger, preferably on a console title.
- College degree in 3D animation or equivalent.
- In-depth knowledge of Maya is essential.
- Familiarity with MotionBuilder and 3DS Max is a plus.
- Experience with the Unreal Engine is an asset.
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language is preferable.
- Excellent understanding of clothing and anatomy.
- Deep understanding of animation.
- Completion of rigging for at least one complex character or object (with a video link).
- Good communication skills and the ability to document all work.
- General knowledge of video games and the methods used by developers to create them.
- Essential experience in facial animation.
- Curious nature and a thirst for knowledge.
- Strong team spirit.
- Excellent problem-solving skills suited for a dynamic environment.
