**Position: Bilingual Business Processing and Registration Administrator**

**Department: Mutual Fund Operations**

**Reports to: Director, Operations.**

**Global Maxfin Investments Inc, with affiliated companies, is one of the largest independent Mutual Fund Dealer in Canada offering a broad array of financial products and services for individuals and families.**

**Key Accountabilities**

The Business Processing Administrator will provide excellent customer service by successfully processing KYCs, trades, non-financial changes, transfers coming in to the dealer and follow up calls to fund companies within an environment that requires the meeting of daily deadlines amidst fluctuating trading volumes. The individual will also be processing Registration of new advisors and any updates on existing advisors on NRD system along with yearly renewals of advisors.

**Major Responsibilities**
- Processing of new client accounts (KYC entries) in a timely manner
- Processing of trades (purchases, redemptions, switches, PAC/SWP and transfers) and non‑financial changes on Winfund system to meet the daily deadlines
- Following up with fund companies for trades that are faxed to fund companies for processing
- Following up on pending transfers with relinquishing institutions
- Responding on a timely manner to internal and external inquiries regarding trades
- Conducting quality control checks of client statements on a quarterly basis
- Registration of New advisors and updating information on existing advisors on NRD system.
- Renewals of advisors on an annual basis.
- Updating Advisor E&O Insurance on Winfund and with AMF for Quebec Advisors.
- Performing special projects that arise during day-to-day operations
- Other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Completion of post-secondary education with a focus on finance, economics or business
- Minimum 2 years experience in the mutual fund or financial industry
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of Mutual Fund Dealer Services, investment products, registration of advisors and related services
- Working knowledge of Winfund system required

**Competencies and Attributes**
- Ability to communicate both in English and French verbally and in writing.
- Ability to stay focused, organized and detail oriented with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Detail-oriented with ability to check accuracy of work
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision while maintaining accuracy, efficiency and quality

of deliverables.
- Strong commitment to client service
- Reliable and work well as a team.

**Salary**: $43,000.00-$55,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Richmond Hill, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Post-Doctorate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Mutual Fund: 1 year (preferred)
- Registration on NRD system: 2 years (preferred)
