Reporting to the Manager of Road Compliance and Contracts, the Administrative Coordinator will lead a team of staff responsible for providing administrative support to the Operational Services Department. The position involves front-line supervisory responsibilities for administrative staff including scheduling and assigning work, staff training, checking work in progress and upon completion.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

- Assisting staff with day-to-day work processes and department and corporate policies and procedures
- Develop new processes and standardized procedures for administrative functions designed to provide exceptional customer service
- Customize and generate accurate statistical and financial reports from various municipal systems including Workforce, JD Edwards and Questica
- Providing administrative support to the Operational Services Department management team

**Qualifications**:

- A degree or diploma in Business Administration/Office Administration or equivalent
- Three years of experience in clerical office/business administration
- Advanced working knowledge of computers programs, especially Microsoft Office Suite is required
- Experience using Work Order Management systems is considered an asset
- Knowledge of accounting principles, accounts payable and budgeting is required
- Applicants must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
- A valid Ontario G Drivers License in good standing is required as occasional travel will be required
