**Job Summary**:
Reporting to the Supervisor, Business Solutions the Systems Analyst position will participate in the ongoing technical Implementation and refinement of Halton Region's software system.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Participates in project technical implementation including software acquisition, system planning, development and system integration, hardware sizing, software installation, systems testing, documentation and training.
- Migrates system enhancements/projects after hours and on weekend, if required.
- Develops technical documentation for system support.
- Analyzes, architects, designs, recommends, and implements system solutions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**Skills & Qualifications**:
**Essential**
- Degree or diploma in Computer Science or related field and a minimum of four (4) years of experience working in Information Technology.
- Strong knowledge of System Development Life Cycle
- Design, development and integration using Net (ASP/VB/C#) and MVC, HTML5, JavaScript/jQuery.
- Knowledge and implementation experience using SQL Server databases (including scripting skills, building joins, views, functions, and stored procedures) and reporting (SSRS)
- Knowledge and experience creating and managing ETL jobs using SAP Data Services
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

**Preferred**
- Exposure and awareness of Azure development environments like DevOps, Office 365 and Logic Apps
- Strong communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with non-technical clients
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment
- Experience using MuleSoft or other market leading ETL tools
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint (2019 and/or Online), Infor IPS Hansen
