Product Channel Sales Manager

An exciting new opportunity has opened for a **Product Channel Sales Manager** who will work to strengthen existing relationships and build new partnerships within our national distribution channels.
In close collaboration with our partners, Value Added Reseller (VARs) and our internal sales, marketing and engineering teams, the Product Channel Sales Manager will develop, coordinate, package and deliver programs such as product demonstrations, training, and presentations to increase awareness and drive reseller sales specific to those products lines we have identified as ideally sold through a distribution network. The Product Channel Sales Manager will report to the Senior Sales Director.
**This would be an ideal opportunity for an ambitious, self-motivated, results driven, solutions-oriented, team player with polished presentation, listening and communication skills.**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop programs to enhance channel coverage, and expand distribution network of preferred partners
- Approach strategic partners to establish channel strategies, promote and manage partner marketing campaigns within our key verticals
- Build new partnerships within our national distribution channels
- In conjunction with marketing, product management, and sales, design packages or product kits appropriate to the vertical distribution market
- Deliver customer presentations and attend sales meetings and partner conferences
- Work with partners to develop sale proposals, quotations, and pricings
- Assist in partner marketing activities such as tradeshows, campaigns and other promotional activities
- Educate partners, and their sales force about our product portfolio, solutions, support services and differentiating us from the competition
- Develop and maintain positive working relationship with partners to build business
- Identify, recruit and on-board new channel partners
- Develop process improvements to optimize partner management activities
**Key Ingredients for Success**:
- **Solutions Oriented/Problem-Solver**; Demonstrated success learning new technology and designing sales solutions and programs for a varied knowledge base. Previous experience as a sales contributor within the security industry or similar reseller environment.
- **Communicator/Networker**; Able to hear, listen and persuade partners. With a builder’s mindset, develop new relationships and maintain a network of professional contacts. Have creative and innovative presentation ideas that address client needs.
- **Dynamic Multi-tasker**; Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. Able to handle tight deadlines and stress, both personally and professionally.
- **Analytical/Technical**; Metrics driven - managing goals, pipeline, and performance through data. Experience working with Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
- A Business Degree or comparable experience would be a definite asset.
