**Dream is looking for an Administrator, Construction**

**What will you do?**

Below are some of the primary responsibilities you will be taking on in this role. There will be more, but we can discuss those in person.
- Assist AVP, Construction in tracking various projects, coordinating with multiple project directors and project managers
- Assist Project Managers and Project Directors as required on accounting functions (ie; purchase orders, project start up forms, invoicing, payment inquiries)
- Track and report on all stages of each project and provide information in an uniform manner
- Assist in the preparation of financial project documents and track and guide the approval process
- Asist in financial project closeout
- Set up meetings, take minutes (with action items and dates) and distribute as required
- Coordinate with Property Management, Asset Management, Technical Services Leasing on items as directed
- Manage files, copy, and other administrative duties as directed
- Review, investigate, and reconcile vendor statements
- Prepare monthly project reports, including examining variances from previous periods
- Prepare POs for capital projects, processing invoices and preparation of close out documentation for accounting;
- Organize and maintain department filing system

**What type of experience and skills do you have?**

- 2-3+ years progressive experience in accounting and/or administration
- Previous experience within construction, design or development industries is a strong asset.
- Excellent coordination and multi-tasking ability
- Extremely organized and can perform under tight deadlines and competing priorities
- Able to prioritize and is self-motivated, innovative and creative thinker
- Able to action quickly with accuracy
- Good with numbers and is analytical
- Strong communication skills. Demonstrated in written and verbal reports, and meeting participation
- Recommend and implement enhancements to current procedures to improve operational effectiveness
- Strong people skills and positive attitude. A team player with a proven ability to build relationships at all levels of an organization as well as with external parties such as vendors and business partners.
- A self-starter. Ability to anticipate needs, take initiative, plan ahead, commit and deliver within the set time frames. Ambition to learn and grow professionally.
- Strong skills in task-prioritization and multitasking. Being able to switch gears among various ongoing tasks, while understanding the priorities.
- Diligence and detail-oriented when preparing deliverables
- Utilize problem-solving skills to develop solutions to key issues and challenging situations
