MAJOR DUTIES:
In support of the Global Spares business and the Spares COE team, the Business Data Analyst will work closely with ATS stakeholders in performing a range of data analysis to support daily operations, customer reporting, KPI development and maintenance, and other analytics duties.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES- Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to support daily performance and strategic planning process.
- Provide support to multiple functional teams through conducting both qualitative and quantitative research
- Support preparation of monthly financial reporting for Spares COE team
- Engage in data analysis associated with part pricing studies, and strategic price development
- Perform spares consumption analysis by SKUs
- Maintain inventory analyses to support development of periodic inventory recommendations
- Develop and deliver customer KPI reports related to long term supply contracts
- When needed, support eCommerce team with parts research, data collection and conditioning
- Acquire data and troubleshoot reports for ongoing customer projects, conduct analysis and report on insights developed through the data review and discussions with the support team.
- Support the development of standardized metrics and data visualization for the organization that keeps us informed, and fingers on the pulse of our business
- Provide performance monitoring and insights via dashboards, scorecards and ad hoc analysis.
- Coordinate with multi-disciplinary stakeholders, and functional teams to provide valuable insights based on the data analysis.
- Process confidential data and information according to guidelines.
- Filter and "clean" data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance

QUALIFICATIONS:
**Education**:
- Enrolled in Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in data analytics, data science, Business, or Commerce
- Preferably third or final year co-op student

**Required Skills**:
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Familiar with methodologies and processes for managing and manipulating data and draw insights from large data sets and relational databases
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.
- A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
- Knowledge and experience in statistical and data mining techniques
- Knowledge of statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distribution, statistical

tests and proper usage, simulation, scenario analysis, modeling, clustering, decision trees, neural networks, etc.)- Demonstrated ability to facilitate and support the use of sound analytical practices
