Role Overview
Reporting to the Quality Manager, Nuclear, the Co-op Student will support the quality assurance team through data collection, procedure updates, and compliance checks. This hands-on role in the nuclear technology sector involves collaborating with quality engineers to enhance the quality program and ensure alignment with industry standards. Ideal for a detail-oriented individual eager to learn and make a meaningful impact.
**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Collect and organize data from weekly surveillance audits and compliance checks to identify areas for improvement in the quality program.
- Collaborate with Quality Engineers and the Quality Manager to establish best practices for quality control on the manufacturing/assembly floor.
- Assist in updating the QA Nuclear Technology Center skills matrix and organizing department-specific training records.
- Support the maintenance of the history file.
- Scan quality records into the system for traceability and inclusion in the history file.
- Demonstrate strong professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Collaborate effectively in a team environment and actively participate in group meetings.
- Complete additional duties and projects as assigned.
- Comply with the Eclipse Project Operating Policy.
- Uphold a good corporate citizenship role in support of the Eclipse corporate vision.
- Ensure all business activities adhere to the highest ethical standards and comply with the Eclipse Automation Inc. Code of Conduct.
- Promote a culture that reflects the core values of the organization.

**Qualifications**:

- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in a quality related field or equivalent
- Strong organizational skills
- Experience working in excel an asset
- A self-starter with ability to establish priorities and work without supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of quality processes; nuclear requirements and auditing is desirable

This position is a co-op/student role, starting January 2025. Students should be enrolled in a post-secondary academic program requiring a co-op work term.
