We are searching for a **Billing and Receivables Supervisor **to join our Finance Team based in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

**About the Opportunity**
- Ensure adherence to processes and department KPI’s, including but not limited to timely move ins, move outs, refunds, rate increases, trust statement, resident, miscellaneous and government billing
- Ensure revenue reconciliations are completed monthly
- Manage team member performance and development
- Develop strong relationships with LTC site admin coordinators and managers to support them in their roles
- Resolve billing and resident account issues, escalating as necessary and appropriate
- Assist with audit of various processes related to resident and government billing, trust accounting and accounts receivable

**About You**

In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring:

- University Degree or College Diploma in Accounting/Business or equivalent relevant experience.
- 5 Years in an Accounts Receivable/Billing/Shared Financial Services/Finance roles, handling high volume of financial transactions, working in a multi site or subsidiary environment
- Worked within an integrated ERP environment and comfortable with following and upholding defined processes
- 3 years Supervisory experience
- A passion for the healthcare sector and/or ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services and care.
