A bit about the role _**

The Customer payments coordinator at Solink is a position that is both challenging and rewarding. We are searching for a charismatic person who enjoys building relationships and maintaining positive customer interactions. In this role, you will be responsible to register received payments as well as request and pursue payment on delinquent accounts. Duties will include reporting collection activity, resolving client inconsistencies and addressing client queries.

**WHO YOU ARE**:

- You have a Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or other related field or equivalent years of experience.
- You have a well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills when dealing with Customers.
- You have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- You have strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.
- You have a high level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
- You have a strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
- You are able to effectively communicate both verbally and written.
- You are customer centric and thrive on providing EXCELLENT service.

**SECURITY REQUIREMENTS**:

- Be a Canadian Citizen (dual citizens included), or eligible to work in Canada;
- Be willing to comply with Solink’s own security policies and standards.

**WHAT WILL YOU DO?**
- Locate and notify customers regarding overdue accounts.
- Respond to client account queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Follow established guidelines to review and update account statuses.
- Maintain a log of payment promises and pertinent account details.
- Schedule follow-up communication with the account holders.
- Work with the Collection specialist to monitor accounts receivable and cash receipt reports.
- Help investigate the reason for overdue payment statuses.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
