|About the role
Change Management plays an integral role within Payments Canada and the delivery of the RTR Program. As part of our Business Program Delivery team, the Lead, Change and Training will lead the coordination of the internal change function to support implementation and integration of new business processes and systems. This position will be responsible for creating change management and training strategies to support successful implementation of the RTR by Payments Canada, our RTR delivery partners, Payments Canada members and the Bank of Canada, with a focus on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems, and technologies.
This is a temporary position for a 24 month

| What you’ll do
Responsibilities as the Lead, Change and Training will include;
**Change Management Planning and Delivery**:
- You will drive delivery of effective change management, which includes the development and ownership of the strategy and plan, identifying how processes, procedures and practices need to be evolved to deliver the planned benefits, coordinating with executives and business leaders to help identify and define new capabilities and developing training plans to support operations at Payments Canada, our members and the Bank of Canada;
- You will ensure all business areas, delivery partners and external stakeholders are sufficiently prepared for the impact of the new ways of working (identification, design, training, delivery);
- You will be tasked with ensuring there is sufficient support available for the new ways of working to operate in a ‘business as usual’ state;
- You will work with executives and business leaders to define change management strategies and with operational managers to embed changes within the business; to support colleagues while the transition is taking place;
- You will promote the business vision, and maintain a change coordination function to support effective integration of business change. This includes creation of reinforcement plans and defined key roles and responsibilities for the organization and external stakeholders.
**Contacts and Communications**:
- You will develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, external delivery partners (e.g. IBM, Interac), Payments Canada members and the Bank of Canada in support of change management initiatives;
- You will be responsible for coaching and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to better equip them to successfully adopt change in order to drive organizational success and outcomes;
- You will work closely with the People Team and Communications team leadership, and support organization integration efforts using change management methodologies and strategies with a focus on organizational engagement.
|Minimum Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree in Business, Finance or Economics or equivalent work experience;
- Minimum of ten (7) years of experience in organizational change management program design, including communications, engagement and behavioural and cultural change;
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a leadership role;
- Must be a leader who can influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization in written and oral communications;
- Government of Canada Reliability Clearance or eligibility to obtain.
- |Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of the Canadian payments industry, in particular Canadian payments clearing and settlement systems, or banking operations is considered an asset;
- Change Management Professional and/or Project Manager Certification is considered an asset;
- Prosci Certification is considered an asset.

- Based on qualifications and experience: $112, 364 and $140,455.
