- Assist with the negotiation and procurement of materials, supplies, and equipment
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels
- Monitor and track orders to ensure on-time delivery
- Coordinate with internal departments to determine purchasing needs
- Research potential vendors and evaluate their capabilities and pricing
- Assist with vendor management, including maintaining relationships and resolving any issues that arise
- Support the development and implementation of purchasing strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize purchasing processes
- Utilize MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to generate purchase orders

- Previous experience in purchasing or procurement is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices
- Strong negotiation skills to obtain the best price and terms from vendors
- Ability to fabricate effective relationships with suppliers
- Familiarity with MRP systems and sourcing strategies
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

**Salary**: From $40,000.00 per year
