**Responsibilities**:- Ensuring KPI’s are met.- Investigate and resolve misapplied cash transactions.- Respond to customer inquiries, maintain good customer relations and perform root cause analysis.- Perform related administrative duties.- Prepare and create AR refunds, and other adjusting journal entries as required.- Initiate professional contact with internal customer service representatives and external customers as needed to obtain remittance advice and support other AR initiatives.- Assist with month end close & daily deposit reconciliation to the bank.-
- Documentation of processes and desktop instructions.- Other duties/projects as assigned.

**Requirements**:
- Post-secondary education in Accounting/Business Administration.-
- Preferred 3+ years’ experience in Cash Application- Proficiency in MS Office Suites (Intermediate Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)- Working knowledge of various accounting ERP systems, Workday experience considered an asset.- Thorough understanding of general accounting principles and accounting impacts of transactions.- Good analytical, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.- Commitment to privacy and ethical conduct, and compliance to firm policies and procedures.- Demonstrated experience in identifying and implementing process improvements.- Enrollment in the CPA program and French language is considered an asset.
